Foreign diplomats visit Taif tourist attractions

April 4- About 60 foreign diplomats recently visited tourist attractions in the summer resort of Taif, including the historical Shabra Palace. The consuls visited a number of tourist and historical attractions in Taif and participated in cultural activities. The tour covered Shafa, Hada, Radf, King Fahd Garden, and the ropeway in Al-Karr. Director of the Shabra Palace, Abdul Aziz Al-Amri, briefed the delegation about the palace’s architectural features and historical importance. The five storey palace was built based on Roman, Islamic, and Hejazi architectural designs.
