The Hospitality Management Holdings (HMH) company is moving forward with aggressive expansion plans, mainly throughout the Muslim world, and plans to have 100 properties under development within the next three years. The hotelier’s brands include Coral Hotels and Resorts and they currently operate 18 hotels including properties in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. Mr. Noblet said not selling alcohol at their hotel has not affected their profitability. He explained “For us, it’s an executive and commercial decision to be in a safe environment not serving alcohol. There’s no pollution – alcohol is a kind of pollution.” HMH has 32 agreements to operate hotels currently under construction or being planned in Yemen, Sudan, Morocco, and Egypt.. This month HMH opened a Coral Plaza in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia and a Coral Suites in Beirut.
