Ibis Al Barsha partners with Rolling Stone ME for a competition

According to general manager Philippe Montaubin, the hotel’s support for this event shows the ibis brand’s commitment to the young generation: “At ibis Al Barsha, we understand today’s young people need a creative outlet to express themselves and their raw talent. With this first ever musical competition in the Middle East, we are excited to see local and regional bands ‘battle it out’ during the two-day event. With room rates starting from Dh209++, the hotel appeals to business and leisure travellers who look for quality accommodation on a budget as well as young groups of people travelling to Dubai to attend events, go shopping or enjoy a city break.

The hotel features 378 double rooms, 100 twin-bed rooms and two special needs rooms across six floors. The judging panel for the event will consist of a host of well-known personalities in the local music scene, including Geordiebird from Dubai 92, host of Dubai Eye’s Open Mic show Zahra Soar, Triplew.me editor Paul Kelly, DJ Bliss and Adam Grundey, editor of Rolling Stone Middle East.
