Mahan Air, the largest private airline in Iran, inaugurates its new office in Dubai on December 12, 2012. Located in Flacon Tower in Rigga AlBateen Road, it is close to several hotels including the Hilton Creek, Samaya Hotel and Concord Hotel. Mahan has two flights every day from Dubai to Tehran one departing at 12:00 noon and the other at 11:20pm. On Wednesday it has a third flight which leaves Dubai at 4:55pm.
With a fleet of 34 aircraft, Mahan Air is expanding its route network and last Spetember introduced flights to Shanghai from Tehran. In December 2008 it became the first airline from the Middle East to fly directly to Phuket in Thailand.
Winter visitors to Tehran can not only see the sights around Tehran such as the famous Azadi Square but can also experience excellent skiing in the nearby ski resort of Dizin. It is a thrilling experience compared to the indoor skiing at Ski Dubai.
