Iraq purchases 10 Dreamliners

Iraq has signed an agreement to buy 10 787 Dreamliners from Boeing on behalf of Iraq Airway. News of the contract appeared on the Boeing website this week although the contract was signed in December last year. The aircraft are worth a total of $1.7bn at list prices, but after standard discounts the Iraqi deal is probably worth $1.1bn.
