Kingdom’s tourism revenues to hit SR66 billion

June 14 - The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) said that the estimated tourism revenue for this year for the kingdom is about SR66 billion, which means a growth rate of 4.76 per cent in comparison with its revenues in 2009. In the conference held at the Cityscape Exhibition in Jeddah last Monday, the Commission's Vice President for Investment, Dr. Salah Al-Bakhit said that SCTA hopes revenues will go up to SR118 billion in 2015, and SR232 billion in 2020.
He added that revenues from transport will go up to SR30 billion and from restaurants and cafes it will go up to SR36 billion in 2010.
