Usually people tend to avoid the middle seat but this may result in people willing to sit next to someone whom they identify through Facebook to be a potential business partner or perhaps someone who has a pretty face and they would like to spend a few hours with.
Details of how this will work have not yet been announced but it will certainly be interesting to see how this develops.
