Marriot Names Vladimir Dabbah VP Of Sales

Vladimir Dabbah has been named vice president of global sales for Marriot International for the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Dabbah, who is based in Dubai, will provide strategic sales leadership for Marriot’s sales efforts in the region. David Townshend, Senior-Vice President, Global Sales, Marriot, said Dabbah will lead a team of 75 sales professionals to develop and implement business segment sales strategies…

Mr. Dabbah, who is a graduate of Yarmouk University in Jordan, joined Marriot in 1997 as a reservations sales agent at the company’s reservation center in Amman, Jordan. He has since moved to JW Marriot Hotel Dubai as a senior sales manager, and beginning in 2004 was the director of sales and marketing at the Renaissance Dubai Hotel.
