In addition, Raffles Spa is offering an exclusive 30 minutes gents' massage, the "Executive Man's Tension Tonic", for a month that will be in support of Pancreatic Cancer for only AED 229 and 100% of the revenue of this treatment is donated to ForBOB. ForBOB "Help Find a Cure" bracelets are available for sale at Raffles Spa and Raffles Boutique.
ForBOB.org named in the memory of the late Robert "Bob" Phillips who lost his life to Pancreatic Cancer and created by his son Raki, is a movement dedicated to those who have lost loved ones to Pancreatic Cancer and are determined to help find a cure in the near future. 100% of all proceeds go directly to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to help advance research and support ailing patients suffering from Pancreatic Cancer.
Pancreatic Cancer (PC) is the 5th common cause of cancer death and has a survival rate of 3% within 5 years. This figure has not changed in over 40 years. Famous people who have suffered from PC include; Patrick Swayze, Steve Jobs, Luciano Pavarotti and Aretha Franklin.
