The Saudi Arabian tourism and hospitality market is growing at a rapid rate, driven by considerable government investment in the upgrading of infrastructure such as airports, development of the holy cities and cultural sites, and the commitment of the local and international hospitality industry. The Kingdom’s tourism earnings are forecast to hit SR80 billion by 2015.
Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ entry into the Middle East region more than a decade ago was through Saudi Arabia, which the luxury hotel property management company identified as a key strategic market for long term regional growth.
Today, both award-winning Rosewood properties in the Kingdom are recognised as ideal hospitality venues for discerning business and leisure travellers, offering superior facilities, world-class dining and banqueting facilities in their respective cities, excellent shopping and convenient city centre locations. Both Rosewood Corniche and Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel offer unmatched personalised service with 24 hour butlers allocated to every room in the hotels.
Ron Cusiter, Vice President Sales & Marketing Operations, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts said: “There is no doubt about the strength and potential of the Saudi Arabian market, and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is well positioned through our two flagship properties in Jeddah and Riyadh, to maintain our leadership position here.
The two hotels also serve as excellent benchmarks for our upcoming projects in the region, in particular Rosewood Abu Dhabi and Rosewood Dubai, which are both scheduled to open within the next eighteen months. Our participation at this year’s Arabian Travel Market will enable us to showcase the distinctive luxury and fine attention to detail for which all our properties are renowned, and to highlight our continued commitment to Middle East region.”
The Rosewood Hotels & Resorts exhibition stand is located at Zabeel Hall Stand ME 1100 of the Arabian Travel Market exhibition at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The show runs from 2nd – 5th May.
