Saadiyat properties get green signal

July 1 - The Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), the main developer of tourism, cultural, and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, has appointed Abu Dhabi-based Dhabi Contracting Establishment to build the first phase of Saadiyat Beach Apartments, which comprise 495 apartments. Set in the heart of a community on Saadiyat Beach, the properties, designed with Arabian and Mediterranean elements, are set for completion by the fourth quarter of 2011.
They will take up six buildings in total and already construction work has begun. Show apartments will be available to view in the second quarter of 2011, when leasing will commence to future residents.
The residents of the apartments will be in a good position to enjoy the range of leisure activities on the island like five-star hotels, beach clubs and Saadiyat Beach Golf Club.
In addition, the nearby Saadiyat Beach Marina Village will provide community services and further entertainment choices for the families and young professionals living in the area.
