During the opening ceremony of the National Conference of E-government Transactions, organized by the Communication and Information Technology Commission in Riyadh city, Eng. Mohammad bin Ahmed Mulla, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, honored SCTA through handing over the award to Mis’ar bin Mohammad Al Mas’ar, Director General of Information Technology Department in SCTA.
On the occasion, Eng. Mas’ar, stated: “This honor is a pride for SCTA and a recognition of its efforts in the technological field, besides it comes as a crowning glory to the ambitious vision as adopted by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz for setting SCTA as an example for applying concepts of e-government, technology education, and awareness, which reflected positively on SCTA, its employees, and its services beneficiaries through various capacities (individual, business, and government)."
Eng. Mas’ar further commented that, SCTA had won several technical awards, the last of which was the Award of Technical Excellence from Middle East Institution for Technical Excellence in Dubai. Undoubtedly, the reward of e-government program (Yasser) is considered the most important one because it is awarded by the National Program, which evaluates governmental efforts in this regard.
