Sharjah Airport signs maintenance facilities agreement

MAF Dalkia Middle East has won a contract with the Department of Civil Aviation Authority to run the maintenance for the facilities at Sharjah Airport. Abdul Wahab Mohammad Rumi said that the signing of the agreement comes within the framework of the Sharjah International Airport's keeness to maintain all its facilities, including technical service efficiently around the clock.
He added that the contract will help the Department of Engineering at the airport in carrying out their duties to the fullest, especially in light of the need for an increased pace of work because of significant growth in passenger traffic, aircraft and shipping cargo.
The increase in growth requires the provision of effective management of maintenance, and companies must be able to work with precision and professionalism. He pointed out that the contract period was for 3 years.
