Summer travel in Kuwait registers positive trend

May 25 - Travel agencies in Kuwait have said that this year’s bookings for summer travel will be much better than those of the last two years. In fact, the current turnout, they said, indicates that there is positive growth in the travel industry. El-Boudery said that this year most Kuwaitis are thinking about travelling to the Far East. "Even Thailand, which is one of the most popular destinations for the summer time in Kuwait, is not off the list. Even though the country is politically unstable, people are used to going to Thailand. They are waiting to see what will happen and they haven't cancelled their reservations yet," she explained.
