The Mayoralty of Baghdad has signed two contracts with two companies to build shopping malls at the cost of $ 54 million. The first contract was signed with Dar Al-Sabah for the construction of a mall in the Harithiya region at a cost of $ 42 million in a 3 year time frame. The second contract was signed with the Amwag company to build the al-Nakhil mall in the Palestine street region at a cost of $ 12 million.
The malls will have shops, restaurants and entertainment areas.
