Atkins has started the pre-qualification process for the contractors and construction is slated to begin next month. The project will be completed by 2012.

The park will be yet another addition to the various attractions on the island including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the first Ferrari theme park in the world, to be opened on October 28.
