Why visit
The tallest building in the European Union, The Shard stands at approximately 306 metres and was inaugurated in July 2012. The building is jointly owned by Stellar Property and the State of Qatar.
What to see
On the 68-72 floor is the observation deck, called “The View” situated right on top of The Shard. Visitors can take in unobstructed 40 mile views across the London skyline and beyond. On the 31-33rd floor are restaurants and from the 34-52nd floor is the Shangri-La Hotel.
