Health and Safety

Tashkent is a safe place but like in any other country, visitors should take care of their belongings and always travel with caution. In big bazaars, pick-pockets are very common and so personal belongings should be kept safe and hidden. Travelling alone during night time is not advised as robbery and assault incidents do take place but they are very rare. Confrontations should be avoided, if you see one then move away.
