Overview
For airport transfers, RER Line B links Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport directly to central transit hubs like Gare du Nord. Following the cessation of the Roissybus on February 28, 2026, and the Orlybus on March 3, 2025, rail transfers are the primary public transit option, operating at a flat fare of €14. Alternatively, Orly Airport (ORY) is linked directly to central Paris via the newly extended, fully automated Métro Line 14.
While the rail network is extensive, step-free accessibility is extremely limited across older Métro lines. Only the modern, automated Line 14 is fully step-free from street level to the platforms. For families traveling with strollers or travelers with reduced mobility, the surface bus and tram networks are highly recommended, featuring low-floor boarding ramps and dedicated pram areas.
