Why visit
Constructed along 3.7 kilometers of coast, and spread over 80 acres of land, this park is reputed to be the largest park in Asia. Needless to say, it adds considerably to the beauty of the beach. Its attractions include unique rose bushes, lush green lawns, tall trees, beautifully crafted fountains, well placed wooden and stone benches, well maintained restrooms, clean paved pathways, children’s play areas, large dinosaur statues, a turtle pond with live turtles, and food courts and souvenir shops.
What to see
Bagh Ibn-e-Qasim has a defined role in the Clifton route. The approved Karachi guide selects it for Large seafront public park, which is the factual basis for keeping it in the guide.
Plan your visit
Use the saved map to verify the entrance and current access close to the visit date. Karachi stops can be affected by traffic, security, weather, prayer times or programme changes, so plan this with nearby places and leave enough time for an unhurried return.
