Airport arrivals and transfers
Logan International Airport is close to central Boston. The free Massport shuttle network links terminals with Airport station on the MBTA Blue Line, while the Silver Line SL1 bus connects the terminals with South Station and the downtown transit network. Taxis and app-based ride-hailing use designated airport pickup areas; follow terminal signs rather than accepting an unsolicited curbside offer.

Taxi and ride-hailing
Licensed taxis and app-based services are useful when luggage, weather, late-night travel, or a suburban day trip makes the T less convenient. At Logan, follow the official pickup instructions; in the city, use a marked taxi stand or request the ride inside the app. Confirm the vehicle and driver details before entering and keep the destination address visible.
