frankfurtNordwest is a large shopping complex located in the north of Frankfurt. It has around 150 well known brands that are most visited by locals and visitors. The center of the mall is more than an experience and offers cultural exhibits for display. Frankfurters predominantly come here for dining and entertainment. The Tropicarium consists of numerous varieties of tropical plants enclosed in a giant greenhouse and displayed according to climate and natural habitats like mangroves, desert, rainforest and monsoon. On the same property there are various glass houses that exhibit other plant and flower species. frankfurtThis museum is an extensive display of the Goethe Age and is in commemoration of the greatest German writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. It shows pictures and paintings from German artists belonging to various time periods, which depict changing traditions and cultures. It also has an extensive library of literature and historical texts. Adjacent to the museum is the Goethehaus, which was the home of the famous writer. The house and the museum are both open to tours. The museum timings are Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the ticket costing around 5.00 Euros for adults and 1.50 Euros for children.
