1,080 Strong Tourist Delegation Expected Next Week

General Manager of Alireza Travel Tours said a large tourism group is expected to visit Jeddah on March 23rd on the international tourist cruiser, Crystal Serenity. Khatar Chaaya said the group is comprised of 1,080 men and women from 18 countries. “This is the largest tourist group to visit the Kingdom so far,” he added. The Al-Jazirah Company will transport them to various destinations in the kingdom including the historical region of Jeddah, the Corniche, Abdul Rauf Khalil Museum, the camel market in south Jeddah, and the fish market. Languages spoken by people in the tourist group include Chinese, French, Japanese, German, and Spanish. More than 20 tourist guides will accompany the group to explain landmarks and their significance. Maaorouf Hussein, program convener at Alireza Travel & Tours, said Alireza is one of the pioneering tourist companies in the kingdom, and was established about 60 years ago. Alireza obtains tourist visas through its SCTA license.
