$1.5b Tourism Project Planned In Muscat

Omagine SOAC announced on over the weekend that they are all set to sign an agreement with the Omani government for a $1.5 billion mega tourism project dubbed ‘OMAGINE’. The project will be spread out over 245 acres of prime beach front land, a stone’s throw distance from the Muscat International Airport. Omagine's chief, Frank Drohan remarked: "We are gratified by the continued strong support of the Royal Court, CCC and our local Omani partners. These strong strategic investor partners will serve the Project Company well in these unsettled financial and economic times. Of course, nothing bodes more favourably for the success of Omagine than the incomparable location of the project site.”
