Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority has announced that the “Abu Dhabi Summer Season,” festival will be held this year from 20 July to 20 August. “‘The Abu Dhabi Summer Season’ includes a month of artistic performances, entertainment parties, promotions and awards" said Mubarak Al Shamsi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Conference Office at ADTA. This summer, two cartoon characters Tom and Jerry will perform for the first time in the Gulf. 10 exclusive live shows will be held in the cities of Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. They will also take part in a week-long series of events at the Abu Dhabi Mall, where children will be able to meet the two celebrities, interact with them and take selfies. Visitors to the shopping malls will also have the opportunity to participate in the weekly draw to win a luxury car during the Abu Dhabi Summer Season, as well as 50 Abu Dhabi Experience vouchers, each with a two-night stay at a 5-star hotel during the show.
Etihad Airways, the national carrier, is the official air transport partner for the Abu Dhabi Summer Season while the official hotel partner is Dusit Thani.
