First surfing school in ME launched

March 19- Wahooo! Water Park has launched Middle East’s first-ever surf school in Bahrain, it was learnt on Friday. The trainers at the academy have been coached by the world champion flow riding team that flew in from South Africa. The academy can train enthusiasts in all levels of surfing in the five-week, seven-and-a-half hour training programme. Once trained, participants will compete for the ‘Big Barrel…
Once trained, participants will compete for the ‘Big Barrel Bash’, a weekly event where flow riders run at high speed to test their limits. Only Wahooo! Surf School pass holders will be able to ride the wave on the day of the event making it the exclusive wave event in town.
