Ireland trying to attract more UAE visitors

The sales mission showcased Ireland’s filming locations of hit TV series Game of Thrones and blockbuster movie, Star Wars.

Speaking at the event, Niall Gibbons said: “The Sales Mission comes at a time when visitor numbers to the island of Ireland from the UAE are increasing significantly. Tourism Ireland estimates that 65,000 visitors traveled to the island of Ireland in 2015, representing an 18 per cent growth in visitor numbers from the previous year. We have every indication that we will continue this success in 2016.”

Dublin is one of the top 25 destinations on Irhal.com and promotional efforts by Ireland will certainly help in attracting more tourists from this region.
