President Bashir affirmed the need for agreements between Jordanian and Arab institutions to secure the provision of medical services to patients and to prevent any problems when patients arrive to seek help individually.
He called for the establishment of travel agencies that would be involved in bringing medical tourism, and to allow them to have necessary insurance from when the patient leaves their country until they return. Al-Bashir noted that the health sector attracts patients from many Arab countries as well as from America and Europe because of the competitive advantage the country provides, in terms of quality, outstanding medical talent and relatively competitive costs.
