Must visit: the Dubai Butterfly Garden

The domes are interlinked by narrow corridors and house more than 18,000 winged insects imported from The Philippines, Costa Rica, Colombia and Tanzania. Each dome is decorated with colourful flower displays and is cool enough to give the butterflies – and visitors – a pleasant place to roam.

Elsewhere, a dedicated museum showcases an eccentric collection of butterfly motifs, including an enormous picture of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum formed completely out of butterflies. There’s also an outdoor butterfly flower park and a small coffee shop.

Butterfly Garden is open from 9:00AM – 6:00PM Daily

Regular Admission: 50 AED
