Poll shows majority against BA strike

Some 46.8 per cent said the strikes were wrong in the current economic climate, and that staff should be “thankful that they have jobs” while a further 37.5 per cent said all those involved should be fired.

Strike action by cabin crew continued to affect scheduled long-haul flights, including one from Dubai, on Wednesday. “There will be some cancellations of flights globally on the 31st as the airline get their aircraft, pilots and cabin crew back into the correct positions around the world,” a British Airways’ spokesperson said earlier this week.
