Elegantly designed with smart soft touches throughout, La Mer is a far cry from the clichéd seafood restaurant inspired designs. From the elegant furniture to the custom made chinaware designed by Bernardaud, La Mer typifies quintessential French dining at its very best.
Serving only the finest fresh locally sourced Gulf fish and Seafood, La Mer will prepare fresh and refined dishes in authentic à la minute French style. Specially designed signature dishes include; Oyster Cream Soup, prepared with Bretagne Herbs and Warm Goat Cheese Croûtons, Fresh Market Fish and Open Scallop Ravioli served with Zucchini, 24 hour Tomatoes, Ginger and a Saffron Sauce.
Discover locally sourced Prawns, at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche’s Prawn Night, every Monday evening from 7pm onwards. Choose from either the set menu (260 AED ++) offering Lobster Bisque or Oyster Cream Soup for starters, Wood Grilled, Seared or Crispy Tempura Prawns for mains and for Desert a delectable Chocolate Cup Cake or Symphony of Sorbet. Alternatively select from a selection of freshly and perfectly prepared Wood Grilled, Crispy Tempura or Seared Prawns (160 AED ++).
On the first Tuesday of every month, La Mer will host the greatest gathering of seafood dishes in the UAE at their Monthly Seafood Night. Choose from a buffet selection of the finest Seafood dishes including Oysters, Shrimps, Calamari and Prawns from 220AED++.
Starting September 15th La Mer will offer an a la carte Business Lunch menu with dishes such as Octopus Carpaccio, Risotto and Red Snapper Zatar between 12.30pm and 4pm.
