The proposed Indonesia Air Pass will encourage visitors to hop on board Garuda and visit multiple destinations in Indonesia for low cost. Other Indonesian airlines are also expected to join this program which aims at increasing both foreign as well as local tourist arrivals.
Garuda is taking delivery of 21 new aircraft in 2012 to expand its fleet and bring athentic Indonesian hospitality to more tourists. The Ministry of Tourism is expecting 8 million foreign tourist arrivals in 2012.
