Syrian Airlines to start Madrid-Damascus route

May 25 - Syrian Arab Airlines has announced it will start flights from Madrid to Damascus along with the local flights from Damascus to Aleppo from June 1. Passengers will travel to Damascus by the ATR72 airplanes and then to Madrid by another aircraft. The ATR72 planes were delivered recently to SAA after the Commercial Bank of Syria funded the purchase deal for $45 million.
