The "Ocean of Lights" festival returns to SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi

The marine life entertainment city extends guest reception hours from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. throughout the festival period until 30 August

SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest indoor marine life entertainment city, announced the return of the Oceans of Lights Festival in its third and largest edition yet, which will run daily until 30 August 2026, offering guests of all ages a program packed with spectacular entertainment shows, neon-lit performances, and family experiences and adventures within a summer atmosphere full of activity and vitality.

Throughout the festival, SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi will transform into a world pulsing with colors, music, and sea-inspired atmospheres, as the marine life entertainment city dons an illuminated guise that reveals a new facet of the ocean’s magic and joy. Festival guests will have the opportunity to enjoy limited-time live experiences and shows, alongside a variety of entertainment surprises.

The Ocean Connects Us world at SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi will shine with a striking visual show using neon lights, featuring dancers, drummers, and a DJ with the participation of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s beloved character Shivers in a distinctive performance illuminated by a mix of spectacular visual effects.

The festival will present a mix of guest-favorite experiences alongside new ones for all family members, ranging from silent disco parties and creative light-themed activities to interactive events that align with the festival’s vibrant atmosphere. Young guests will also be able to express their creativity through art activities inspired by the wonders of seas and oceans, while beloved SeaWorld Abu Dhabi characters such as Skina, Sea Star, Buck, and Shivers, along with others, will join the celebration to provide guests of all ages with moments full of fun and pleasant surprises.

The Oceans of Lights Festival embodies SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s commitment to delivering inspiring entertainment experiences that strengthen guests’ connection to the world of seas and oceans. Under the Your Visit Supports Our Mission initiative, every visit to SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi contributes to supporting the efforts of the Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue Center in marine life conservation, scientific research, and marine animal rescue and rehabilitation.

To provide guests with more time to enjoy the festival activities, SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi announced extended operating hours throughout the festival period, welcoming guests daily from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. until 30 August.
