UAE Travel Sector Records 7% Increase In July

The UAE travel sector saw a 7% increase in volumes in July compared to April. 693 UAE travelers were surveyed on YouGovs’s Travel Tracker between April and July, and data shows that there was a 7% increase in the number of people taking short haul business and long haul leisure trips. The survey showed that the number of more frequent travelers is increasing as well – those taking more than three trips in the past year increased between 15% and 20%. The number of survey respondents planning to take business trips increased five percent and the number planning to increase their leisure travel is up 8% since April.
