Türkiye uses 112 as the single emergency number for ambulance, police, fire and other urgent response services. Give the operator the exact hotel, street, landmark, station or ferry location and a callback number; if language is difficult, ask hotel staff or a trusted local service to help explain the address. For non-urgent assistance, use official police, hospital, airport or tourism-information channels.
Keep travel insurance, medication details, emergency contacts and your embassy or consulate information accessible. Save the hotel name in Turkish and English, tell companions where documents are stored, and report lost passports to the relevant authorities and your mission rather than attempting to resolve the issue through an unverified intermediary.
