Overview
Norway is one of the multiple Schengen countries which require a Schengen visa for entry. This can be obtained from the Norwegian Embassy.
The Schengen visa application form can be downloaded from the Norwegian Embassy website. The processing time for visa applications handled by the Embassy is 3 to 10 days and the applicant will be informed about the estimated period upon submitting the application. Visa fees vary depending on the type of visa required (business, tourist, visiting family/friends).
The fee is waived for the following applicants: - Children under 6 years, - Students and accompanying teachers whose purpose of visit is for studying or educational training, - Researchers from third countries travelling for the purpose of carrying out scientific research
