China Southern Airlines To Add Extra Guangzhou-Dubai Flight

China Southern Airlines (CSA) will add another flight to its Guangzhou- Dubai route beginning on January 7, bringing its total flights to five times a week. Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager for CSA, Najeeb Akhtar said air traffic on CSA between Guangzhou and Dubai has increased ten percent, so “This has prompted us to launch another flight. A daily flight is something we will also consider in the near future.” Akhtar did not reveal exact figures but said that revenues on the sector increased more than ten percent, and 2009 was an extremely successful year – “for us, 2009 has turned into a diamond year. October 2009 broke all the records for us.” Guangzhou based CSA aims to tap into the Saudi Arabian market beginning early next year.
