Dubai Hospitality Sector Gets Ready For Festival Season

Hotel Industry Executives said Dubai’s hospitality sector is again gearing up for the approaching high season with special packages and market specific promotions to attract tourists. DTCM said in a statement that the UK and Ireland markets combined accounted for 854,601 million visitors in 2008, 14 percent higher than the previous year. Hotel operators like Rotana have also increased their sales efforts in the UK. Naeem Darkazally, Area Director for Rotana, said “The UK is a really important year-round feeder market for Dubai, so we have increased our promotions there.
