Dubai’s Bukhatir Group Begins Work On Tunisia Sports Complex

Sports City, a unit of Dubai based Bukhatir Group, has started work on a 256 hectare development in Tunisia scheduled for completion in 2024. Earlier in the month work began on new upscale apartments that will be part of the complex. Workers are now grading ground and planting trees for an 18 hole golf course. Construction work will start in November. Tunis Sports City is the second sports themed development built by Sports City overseas. A similar complex in Tangiers, Morocco is almost complete. Bukhatir Group Chairman said “This is definitely a great time to invest in North Africa. The region has remained unaffected by the global crisis and continues to prosper, particularly in the areas of tourism and real estate.”
