Kenya’s Minister of Tourism is promoting the counties business and tourism potential at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2009 currently under way in Dubai. Speaking to members of the press at the ATM 2009, Bala said the Kenyan government plans to increase the number of tourists from the UAE, and the number of flights between t he Middle East and Kenya have increased. He noted that Barack Obama’s presidency has focused attention on Kenya, and the number of tourists to Obama’s hometown, Ogelo, has experienced an unprecedented surge.
