UAE pavilion opens at Expo Shanghai 2010

May 2- Omar Ahmed Al Bitar, UAE ambassador to China, opened the UAE pavilion at Expo Shanghai 2010 yesterday. The UAE pavilion was designed by the world famous architectural team, Foster + Partners and will showcase the UAE’s prosperity, culture, harmony, and innovativeness to the world. The exhibition is being held in a glittering building whose design gives the creative appearance of sand dunes. Ambassador Al Bitar said “This is a great day for China and a great day for the UAE. The UAE is proud to bring a small part of our country to China in the shape of these elegant sand dunes.
