Managing Director for Epoc Messe Frankfurt said Dubai has “emerged as the definitive MICE hub in the region.”. Elisabeth Brehl said the MICE sector is still growing and presenting new opportunities. She said “The international demand is huge, and initiatives are already being undertaken as we speak, to meet these needs.” The global association of the events industry, UFI, said the MICE sector in the MENA region is valued at DH12 billion per year and will probably grow further in 2009.
