World’s Tallest Hotel Will Upgrade To Five Star

Rotana, the UAE based hotel group, said it is planning to upgrade the 333 meter tall Rose Rayhaan on Sheikh Zayed Road. Rotana officially opened the 72 storey four star hotel on Wednesday. Senior vice president of Rotana said “Our plans are to convert the hotel into a five-star hotel over the next five months.” Omer Z. Kaddouri said it’s not a complicated process and they need to build a new restaurant and make some modifications to units in the rooms. He said they have achieved 25 percent occupancy since opening, which is very good for a hotel this size.
