Kız Kulesi, known as Maiden’s Tower, has stood on its small rocky islet since Byzantine times and was rebuilt multiple times, most recently after a major restoration completed in 2023. The tower now houses a small museum on its maritime history and a café on the upper level.

Access is by short ferry from either the European or Asian side; tickets include the boat ride and entry. The climb to the viewing platform reveals the full length of the Bosphorus, the bridges, and the city skyline. Sunset visits are popular and require advance booking during summer.
