Why dine here
Namlı Gurme occupies a converted warehouse on the Karaköy waterfront, minutes from the Galata Bridge. The signature breakfast features more than twenty small plates—olives, cheeses, eggs, simit, honey, and seasonal vegetables—served on large wooden boards.
What to expect
The deli counter stocks house-cured pastırma, sucuk, and regional cheeses; many items are available for takeaway. Lunch and dinner menus add grilled meats and meze. Reservations are advised on weekends.
Before you go
Alcohol is available at the bar section but clearly separated from the main dining area. The kitchen sources halal-certified meats. Bidet washrooms are standard; several small masjids lie within a five-minute walk along the waterfront.
Good to know
Excellent base for a morning ferry to the Asian side or a stroll through Karaköy’s street-art alleys before heading to Galata Tower.
