The former Grand Hyatt now operates as Hyatt Grand Central New York at 109 East 42nd Street. Its strongest feature is the internal connection to Grand Central Terminal, allowing guests to reach Metro-North trains, the subway and the terminal concourse without crossing the avenue.
The experience
The large inventory includes standard rooms, city-view categories and suites with separate living space. New York Central restaurant and the Market provide full meals and grab-and-go food, while a fitness centre, business facilities and extensive meeting rooms reflect the property’s long corporate-travel role.
Before you book
The official Hyatt page remains bookable and publishes active amenities, correcting the obsolete Grand Hyatt name. It does not substantiate halal meals or alcohol-free beverage menus as standard provisions, so those statements have been removed; dietary preparation must be addressed directly for a specific reservation.
