Overview
The Russian/New Town boulevards offer restaurants and ordinary city services while requiring a longer walk or short taxi to several monuments. The railway corridor is practical for early departures, not for an atmospheric base. The airport corridor solves flight logistics but adds daily sightseeing transfers.
Konigil is a craft excursion east of the centre, while Silk Road Samarkand by the rowing canal is a separate resort and conference zone with branded hotels and on-site facilities. Neither should be marketed as central. Urgut is a regional excursion gateway outside the city core. These are editorial visitor zones, not invented administrative districts.
