Why visit
Edge is the indoor-outdoor observation experience on level 100 of 30 Hudson Yards. Its triangular outdoor deck cantilevers from the tower more than 1,100 feet above Manhattan, creating a platform whose structure and exposed western position are as important as the long-distance skyline view.
What to see
Frameless glass panels lean outward around the perimeter, a transparent floor opens a vertical view to the streets, and the narrow Eastern Point places one person at the tip between converging panes. Outdoor steps rise toward level 101, adding a higher seating plane above the main deck.
Plan your visit
In 2026, seven permanent indoor environments added light, reflection, color and sound between the entrance and sky deck. Those installations change the approach, but Edge's defining geography remains the far West Side: the Hudson fills the foreground, Lower Manhattan extends south and Midtown's towers are read from outside their usual cluster.
