The Shops at Columbus Circle occupy the curved base of Deutsche Bank Center, where Broadway meets Eighth Avenue at the southwest corner of Central Park. Large glass walls frame the circle and park, giving the interior a direct visual connection to one of Manhattan’s busiest intersections.
The directory combines fashion, beauty, jewellery, home and specialty retailers with restaurants distributed across several levels. Rather than a vast suburban-mall plan, the compact vertical layout uses escalators and balconies around a central atrium, with individual storefronts visible across the open volume.
The complex connects internally with Mandarin Oriental, New York and sits above the 59th Street–Columbus Circle subway station. Jazz at Lincoln Center occupies adjoining upper floors, while the Whole Foods Market below street level gives the building a practical grocery component alongside luxury retail.
